Hi All,

I have a friend who is going through divorce settlement. Her previous partner is wanting to reduce the asset pool by spending $47,000 on dental procedures, which will leave him with very little and will result in my friend paying more super to him than before.

Can he withdraw this much for this purpose? Is there a minimum amount he needs to leave behind? Is there a way that the superannuation can be frozen until settlement is completed?
