I've been having this issue for months now and every time I want to log in, I have to call up. I've now tried calling for days and can't get through because "ATO is unable to take calls due to high volumes". Surely there's a better way?


How do we go about sorting this out?

As you may know that is an error code for a block that is placed on your ATO account in order to secure your tax details, and there are many reasons for this.


Have you contacted the ATO client idenitity support centre, as they are the best people to speak to about this and should be able to tell you why its happening and what they can do if anything to remove that block from your account. They usually have very short wait times when you call them.
