I see you can split super with your spouse.


If I understand the guides correctly, you can ask your superfund to move a portion of last years contributions to your spouses superfund this year.


If you move concessional contributions, that is contributions you made last year and received a tax deduction for because they were made out of after tax income, do you receive a tax deduction this year when you move the amount to your spouses super account?

No, because a split is not a contribution.
