I AM ABLE to access mygov account. However not the ATO online services.
- I was accessing ATO online services through MYGov account without any issues. I have in MYGov account two linked services ie ATO and Medicare.
- I also lodged my income tax return for period ending June 2024 recently.
- However on 2nd July i mistakenly linked sign in preference to the ATO through MyGov ID even though i have standard strength having a non-australian passport.Now whenever i successfully log in MYGov account and then i try to click ATO online service it goes to the ATO account and instead of logging in it shows on ATO website the following message.
=======================================================
Your sign in method doesn't meet minimum access requirements
You've used a sign in method with a lower identity strength than you've used previously. To continue, log out and sign in to myGov again using the method with your highest identity strength.
For example, if you previously used your Digital ID, such as myGovID, with a Strong identity strength, you'll need to sign in again with your Strong myGovID.

4.Based on the above i request you to give a feedback on how to change the sign in Method by removing the existing method of using Digital ID to access ATO services. Please note again that I have no issues signing in MYgov through my email id and password which i am able to do without any issues.The problem arises only to access the linked service in mygov account for ATO online service.
