I have tried to sign in and it sends an SMS which I cannot receive as I no longer have the phone number. I try to link with Digital Identity which does not work because my account is not strong enough and I am UK Citizen so cannot use any of the options to strengthen my account. I tried to make a new Gov ID with new email but when I link to the ATO I run into the same problem with using Digital Identity. I am not sure what to do now?

Hi @George825
Yes, this can be tricky now!
We have introduced the new Online Access Strength to help with personal online security.
It may seem a pain, but it is for your personal account/detail's safety. 🔐
We have a great article including a link to further help and support with this issue.

Hi @George
If you have already signed into myGov, when linking to the ATO we do not send verification SMS or emails.
It sounds like you may be having trouble accessing myGov. In this case the myGov website has an article on accessing myGov while overseas.
