Hello my current tax return is meant to be finished with balancing accounts.


ammend my tax return from 2023 its still processing with that affect the or delay my current one from finalising

Hey @Abase,

 

While your original tax return is still balancing, it means we're still going through the info and not finished processing it yet. If you lodge an amendment while it’s still in this stage, it does slow things down.

One thing 'can' affect the other but not always.


Each person, tax return and situation are different.


We couldn't say for certain what any hold up would be without looking into your account.


As stated in the prior response, it 'can' slow things down.
