Hi,

I lodged my return on 26/7/24, the outcome is refundable as my income is under the threshold, but then I amended it to put my super into the reportable employer super contribution as I saw it in my payg summary report sent from my employer. stupid me, I realised that super was just a normal super my employer paid for me not the extra one to be reported. then I amended the return the second time to remove that RESC on 27/7/24.

I know this will not affect my assessable income and the outcome is the same. do you think it will take forever for my return to be finalised or it should not affect the processing time much?

Hi @LNG317,

Yes, it's going to affect the processing time. We recommend not lodging an amendment until the original has been processed. We won't be able to tell you how long it's going to take.
