Hello,


I have a myGov account linked to the ATO.

While the ATO website states that live chat is available for clients lodging via myTax, I am unable to locate the live chat feature on my account.

I can only see the following sections: Tax, Super, Employment, and My profile.


Could you please guide me on how to access the live chat function?

Hey @Sna,

 

You'll be able to use the Live chat function when in filling out sections 3 & 4 of your tax return in myTax. It's available during business hours Mon-Fri.

Thank you a lot for your help.

I now have a clear understanding of the process.

I can see the Live Chat option under Tax > Lodge > Income Tax > Section 3 Personalize Return.
