If I have a rental property which has a loan on it.


Can I transfer it / sell it to the Superfund without debt?


Idea is that if the property is worth 700K, the Super would pay me 700K and would be owned by the SMSF. Property is debt free in Super and I would use the funds the SMSF pays me to retire the loan on the property outside Super

Hi @Balan


No, you can't sell or transfer rental property to the Superfund, however, a SMSF can buy a property for business purposes.
