I tried linking myGov to the ATO online using myGov online and when I filled in the details of my existing Super fund (with Australian Retirement Trust if it matters), was greeted with an error that states "this does not match what is held on ATO records" however I have never created another Super fund, nor did my previous or current employer on my behalf. At least to my knowledge there shouldn't be another fund linked to my ATO account.

I cannot use the "search using ATO" through myGov because the two accounts aren't linked and the above error is impeding my ability to do so.

If anybody knows a work-around for this or perhaps where to find alternate Super funds (using a TFN or something) please reply.

Thanks.

Hi @valentinogor

There're a few ways you can look for your super accounts:

  • by calling us
  • complete a paper form
  • a third party like a tax agent or previous employer

Here's some more info about this on searching for lost super.
