Hi, when calling the dedicated ATO phone number for tax agents, at the prompt where it asks for our tax agent number, we key in our TAN and press # and it's as though it hasn't registered our number. It asks again and we do the same thing, then it asks for a third time and we do it and then we get a message saying the number you have entered is incorrect and we are disconnected. Has anyone experienced this issue and how do we fix it? First time it's happened to us was about 3 weeks ago and it always worked from our office phone line before. Thank you.

Are you still experiencing these problems?
We haven't had any reported issues with our call centre. Perhaps the lines were just busy?
We'd suggest calling as close to our open and close times to avoid long hold times.

Hi @BrookeATO , Yes we are still experiencing these problems when calling using our office phones. Our tax agent number is registering when we call from our mobile phones, but when we call from the office phone & key in our TAN it doesn't work.
Has anyone experienced this? Any solutions?

Hi,
My office is having the same issue with out work phone land line.
When i go to enter our Agent Number it hangs up and doesn't recognize it.
I am able to call of our mobile phones, which we don't want cause we use our work phone for calling the ATO.
Can you please resolve this issue.
