Good morning all,

I have purchased school laptops for 2 of my children for the sole use in education, can I claim any tax back on these purchases?

I have 5 children in school its so expensive now being on a single income as I had to buy 4 laptops all second hand 2 in highschool and two in primary school surely I can claim something back just paying fees is hard enough let alone extra curricular school excursions uniforms and shoes.

Just like what @G_18 already said, school laptops don't relate to your income, so they aren't deductible.

We know paying for school essentials can get tricky, we can only suggest having a chat to the school to see what financial options they have for fees, excursions, uniforms etc.
