Throughout the month prior to taxes being due I try multiple times on multiple days to lodge my taxes but the website is always down. Sometimes I'll get lucky and get through once, just long enough to lodge them but once again tax time is coming up and I haven't been able to get through once despite many tries.

I've had a look and there haven't been any reports of system outages.
There's a couple of things that can help when you're having trouble loading our online services. The first thing is to check the system maintenance page and make sure the systems aren't down for updates.
Second, clear your cookies and cache, try a different browser or try accessing our online services from a different device.
During tax time, our systems can be under heavy usage. Sometimes it helps to try log on later at night or earlier in the morning. Less people are trying to access their accounts during these times.
