My elderly father has asked me to act on his behalf. He has added me as a primary contact on his online ATO account within MyGov. I had understood that I would then be able to access his ATO account through my own MyGov - ATO account. However, I can't see how to do that. Neither can I find any help about this. Anyone? (Thanks for any replies.)

Hiya @okanagan

Being an authorised contact means you can discuss his account over the phone or submit certain forms for him. It does not grant you access to his account online. If he has a business, you may be able to get access to his business accounts through RAM if he authorises you.

There is no facility to have online access to another individuals account.

Disappointing - do you know if online access is something planned for the future? I find it strange that for MyAged Care, and Centrelink, I have been nominated by my mother as her representative and I have full online access to her account online via my own mygov login.
