Hello,

I keep receiving the following error message when trying to access my account:

“A951.22 - Unable to verify your identity. The Australian Tax Office (ATO) is unable to verify your identity.”

I have already lodged my most recent tax return, but now I am unable to log in and view it. I am currently overseas and unfortunately I am not able to call the ATO by phone. I am not sure why my identity cannot be verified, as I used the same details when completing my lodgement.

Could you please advise me what steps I can take to fix this issue and regain access to my account from overseas, without having to call?

The only way to rectify this issue is to speak to our contact centre. If you don't have online access and need to look at the progress of your return, you would also need to speak to our contact centre.

Hello! Thanks for your reply. I am unable to call by phone at seems to be the only option. Is there any other solution available? Thank you!!
