I am currently overseas and will be so for the next few months. I tried to access my mygov account, using the myID method but was denied access due to inactivity. The app requested an account reset, which I performed and I then verified all my details. However, when trying to access the mygov account now, I receive the following error RFM129 and a statement that my email address does not match. The emails do match and I am at a loss as to how to proceed.

I do not have access to my mobile number.

Hi @brettc,

The email addresses have to match exactly, e.g. case sensitive. Make sure you are using the same email address for both myGov and myID (sounds straight forward but it does happen). You may need to contact us to resolve it for you if you're unable to recover your account.

If that doesn't work, you may need to create a new myGov (with a new email) and link it. You can either link to us via myID or by using the myGov code generator app.
