I lodged my return in mid July - it was showing as processed then cancelled and returned to processing. Its been almost 3 months now and I received a text to say I needed to call the switchboard and ask for a particular person on a specific extension with a reference number. The deadline to call is two days from the message. I have tried every single number listed as well as the one I was advised to call and keep being hung up on or the call just ends. I cannot get through to anyone at all. It is completely ridiculous to ask for someone to call by a certain time and then you make it impossible to get in contact with anyone?! I have no idea what to do as I cannot spend an entire day trying to get through to someone.

Given you're unable to get a hold of a specific officer as advised, I think it would be best to phone our complaints line.
