I would like to clarify my situation regarding my Departing Australia Superannuation Payment (DASP) application with AustralianSuper
- I have already uploaded a certified copy of my passport, but the passport is expired.
- AustralianSuper has informed me that they cannot accept it, even though it has been properly certified.
- Unfortunately, I cannot renew or obtain a new passport for at least the next 1–2 years due to my circumstances.
- I do have a certified copy of valid Australian driver’s licence that has previously been accepted for identity verification with my super fund.
Could you please confirm if there is any alternative solution, such as using my certified expired passport, Australian driver’s licence, or another certified document?
At the moment, I am stuck because the fund insists on a valid passport, which I cannot provide.
