I'm trying to file my first tax return. The system can recognize my superannuation details, but not my bank account details. I thought of going to the ATO office to settle this, but the Perth ATO office is closed to the public. I do not have centrelink or a payg payment summary. The ATO phone number is quite also busy. Is there anything I can do?

The error APS104 happens when what you're entering doesn't match what we have on record for you. We get a lot of our info from lodged tax returns so, as you haven't lodged before, you may not be able to link by answering the 2 questions.


A lot of first-time lodgers will submit a paper tax return, once this is done you should have a much easier time linking.
