I am having trouble linking ATO to the MyGov website. The banking details I put in are matched with the details stated in the income statement. However, I keep getting an error message that it isn't matched with the ATO details. So I want to get a linking code.

Your bank details with ATO are from what you have reported on your tax return. If you have never lodged a return before, these details will not be on your record.
If you have previously lodged with an agent, we may have their details still listed.
You can try to use the other questions to see if you can link.
