My tax return has been balancing for 56 days. I rang the help line today and the person who helped has stated there is no notes for review and ready to process including my assessment notice . I am essentially in a que and no time line can be given. No manual checks are required. Is there any idea how long this will take.

Did you lodge online or by paper?
We aim to process online lodgments within 2-4 weeks where paper can take longer. Sometimes there are additional checks that need to be done so it's a matter of waiting.

Hi Thank you for your reply, I lodged online on July 1. When I rang I was told that it appeared no further checks were necessary as no notes were made and all looked ok. That i would just have to wait and no idea on what the further timeline may be.
