Hey @FoxyTransGirl I'm assuming you've updated your name with the ATO? If you have, I found some information about changing your name in myID that could be helpful for you. If you live in one of the states listed on the website, you can update your name with a change of name certificate.
Unfortunately, if you still want to delete your myID, you do have to call the myID team. This is because they need the proper authorisation (verifying your identity) before they can do it. I find it's usually easier to get through on the phones when you call close to open or close.
@G_18 All those options fail the in ap name select needs minimum of normal strength of Id and with just birth licence and Medicare I don't get the name select option it defaults to birth cert and I'm from Qld so my deedpol apparently can't be verified online ? Phone services suck wait years in queues get answered to be redirected and made to wait more answered n put on hold while they look at something and magically the call gets DC and U gotta start all over I'd rather line up in person at a ATO office than deal with this on phone
